As you already know, Sixto, Damien and I are afflicted with a genetic disorder facioscapulahumeral muscular dystrophy. It is the most prevalent form of Muscular Dystrophy, a muscle-wasting disease also called FSHD.
This year, we are enthusiastically planning a 2 mile accessible Walk & Roll for a cure. All proceeds from the event benefit the FSH Society, a 501(c)(3) charity dedicated to solving FSHD.
The FSH Society has led the way in the fight against FSHD thanks almost entirely to generous donations from the society’s members and those who want to make a difference - such as donors like you.
Close to a million individuals worldwide suffer from this devastating disease. There is no cure yet, but we are very close to a treatment.
The Society has become a world leader in serving patients and driving research for treatments and a cure. 100% of the money raised will go directly to patient support and research programs at the FSH Society.
We need your help to make this event successful and to get closer to a cure. Please join us at the Wilson park in Torrance on October 27, 2019 at 10:00am
