Me again - with more good news!

Ellen K. Hannan

Ellen K. Hannan

The money I'm raising by participating in this Walk & Roll is supporting programs and funding research that will directly impact patients and their families living with FSH Muscular Dystrophy (FSHD).

The Walk has come and gone... and was a big success! Over 200 people turned up to support our inaugural CT "race for a cure". I'm deeply grateful to those who've donated and who accompany me every day on this journey.

We are leaving the fund raising link up for another week and my new goal is... $1,800! Please join me in helping our CT Chapter get off to a great start.

Facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy, or FSHD, is a genetic disorder that leads to the weakening of skeletal muscles. There is no effective treatment or cure—but there is hope. I'm committed to making sure that no one faces this disease alone.

Please visit the FSHD Society website (fshsociety.org) to learn more about FSHD, ways to get involved, and everything that is happening!

Thank you for your support! - Ellen
